Why is tub bathing better than taking a shower?
Soaking in a bathtub is an easy way to treat large areas of skin. A warm bath may help you relax if you’re anxious or tense and helps you to get some good sleep. Being in water takes the weight off joints and muscles. What is a foot soak? What are the benefits?
Not all of us find time & ways to always enjoy a long tub bath. But, immersing your feet in a tub of warm water is a nice way to relax after a long day. A foot soak soothes your muscles, hydrates your skin, and can relieve aches and pains due to standing for hours or walking in uncomfortable shoes. Letting your feet sit in their own bath can help reduce swelling and prevent bacteria from settling into cuts or under-toe nails. And while a little rough skin helps protect our feet, if you’re prone to developing thick calluses, softening them in a soak makes them easier to exfoliate. This is the reason why most pedicures begin by submerging your feet into warm water.

Safety precautions to be considered for using Bath Salts?
Please check with your doctor whether bath therapy is right for you, particularly if you have a circulation or heart problem, blood pressure or high BP problem, a specific skin condition, pregnancy, or any implanted medical device.
Kindly follow these principle safety measures:
- Use a bath mat so the tub is not slippery.
- Use warm or cool water, depending on your condition. Never use water that is too hot. Too Hot water can cause burns and worsen itching.
- Don’t soak for more than 30 minutes per day. Bathing more often can irritate the skin.
- Make sure you are hydrated before the bath. Please drink a glass of water before and after your bathing.
- After the bath, blot your skin with a towel; don’t rub.
- The best time to have a soak-in Bath is before bedtime so that you can relax and enjoy a sound sleep after the bath.
- For the greatest effect, cleanse your body very well with a rough loofah or exfoliating sponge before you sink into the bath.
- Essential oils added to the water can help intensify the effect; just be careful when climbing out of the tub, as the oils can make it slippery.
